Lady Colin Campbell to get own TV show in the US?

Lady Colin Campbell is in talks to land her own reality TV show.
The 67-year-old socialite made waves in the news when she locked horns with her fellow camp mates in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ jungle but, although her acid tongue didn’t go down well with viewers, it looks like it’s done her good in the long run as she’s set to launch her own series based on her flamboyant life across the pond.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: "I’m speaking to American television about doing a show there. I’ve been on American TV hundreds of times but not with my own show so this will be new for me. I’ve been on practically every show over there but this would be different, this would be my show."
The reality TV star is no stranger to having all eyes on her as ITV offered her a show ‘Lady in the Castle’, which gave fans an insight into her posh life, last year but she hated every moment of it and hopes her new series will give a more real portrayal of her.
She said: "I hope my American show won’t be anything like the ITV show I did. I am hoping it will be less stereotypical. It won’t just be about me being a Lady or living in a castle."
And the outspoken aristocrat is convinced the US audience will love her because they’re all obsessed with her accent and are constantly ask her to say particular words.
She added: "They love the accent over there. They’re always saying: ‘Please say can’t. I just love the way you say it.’ And when I say it they are just thrilled."
But it’s not just US bosses who are keen to snap her up, as television executives have reached out to her numerous times since she left the jungle in 2015 about taking part in a series of different reality TV shows – but she’s turned them down thus far.
