Kym Marsh: Ryan Thomas ‘isn’t a morning person’

Kym Marsh admits Ryan Thomas was "not always a morning person" on the ‘Coronation Street’ set.
The ‘Corrie’ actress – who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap – has hinted her former co-star (Jason Grimshaw) wasn’t at his bright and bubbly best at the crack of dawn, so she is interested to see how he will get on in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
She said: "I have to say, he’s not always a morning person.
"I remember that from when we’d have early scenes on the Corrie set.
"He’s happier once he’s woken up, like the majority of us. So it will be interesting to see how he is, especially when he’s sharing a bedroom with all of those other contestants."
But Kym thinks Ryan will be an "interesting, colourful character" on the reality TV show, and believes he will be "outspoken" at times.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she said: "He’ll make an interesting, colourful character and that’s what people want to see. He won’t be boring and he’ll be outspoken but very kind and funny as well."
Kym’s comments come after Ryan’s fellow former co-star Catherine Tyldesley (Eva Price) said he will "smash" ‘CBB’.
She wrote on Instagram: "This dude is one of the best . The kinda mate that you can phone at 3am and he’ll come help you out if you need him. I know you’ll smash #CelebrityBigBrother love because you’re personality is top notch! Wears his heart on his sleeve and never ever fails to make me giggle. Love you to tiny pieces @ryanthomas84 – see you and your beaut @lucymeck1 very soon – now go forth and be the amazing person you are! #shine (sic)."
