Katharine McPhee’s divorce from Nicholas Cokas been finalised.
The ‘Scorpion’ actress and her ex – who married in 2012 – disagreed on the date they split with Nicholas arguing it was May 2014, while Katherine claimed the split came in March 2013.
According to TMZ, the judge agreed with Nicholas and as a result he is entitled to a bigger payout.
While Katherine has agreed to pay her ex spousal support, he has also been awarded 50 per cent of income earned during her marriage, which includes songs she worked on, her $700,000 contract with Columbia/Epic Records and income earned from her work on ‘Smash’.
She will also pay him half of the money she earned for the pilot episode of ‘Scorpion’.
Katherine will keep their 2012 Mercedes Benz M Class SUV, while Nick was awarded their 2013 Jeep Wrangler.
The pair split after Katherine was photographed kissing her ‘Smash’ director Michael Morris in 2013. They tried to reconcile but ultimately filed for divorce in May 2014.
Katherine is currently dating her ‘Scorpion’ co-star Elyes Gabel.
