Julia Stiles is engaged.
The ‘Bourne Identity’ actress took to Instagram to share a picture of her hand entwined with that of her beau, camera assistant Preston J. Cook, and a diamond ring was clearly visible.
She captioned the sweet snap: "Best Christmas Ever!" and her representative has confirmed the engagement.
Julia and Preston met last year on the set of ‘Go With Me’ and got engaged on Christmas Eve (24.12.15) at a private residence in Isla Grande, Colombia.
The actress revealed the romance in July, after previously splitting with actor David Harbour – who starred in ‘The Newsroom’.
When asked "What was the best kiss of your life?", she replied: "It might have happened this morning. I am dating a camera assistant I met at work called Preston."
Meanwhile, it was reported last year that the actress will return for the fifth ‘Bourne Identity’ film.
The actress – who plays covert agent Nicky Parsons – had a key role in the third film, 2007’s ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’, although it is currently unclear how she will be involved in the upcoming movie, which is set to open in cinemas on July 29 2016.
However, the blonde beauty – who wrapped filming on crime thriller ‘Beyond Deceit’ with Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins and Josh Duhamel last year- recently revealed the original plan was for her character to be killed off in the first film, but the scenes were cut so she could return for the sequel.
She said: "I was really lucky. Originally I was going to be killed in the first film. I was flipped up against a wall and my neck snapped, but they cut it together in a different way so I survived, which was lucky for me."
