Adam Lambert’s shopping sprees

Adam Lambert loves shopping with his mother.

The ‘For Your Entertainment’ hitmaker enjoys regular shopping sprees with mom Leila Lambert and says he gets his "eye for style" from her.

She said: "When he was a kid, any kind of arts and crafts, anything to do with being creative, I always wanted to make sure he had anything you’d want. [Now] we have an affinity for shopping."

Adam added: "I remember in high school, there was a period of time where we were hanging out a lot and we were doing a lot of shopping. You got to a point where you said to me, ‘I’m sick of all my clothes, I’m stuck.’ And I was like, ‘That’s all I need to hear. We’re doing a makeover!’ I definitely get my eye for style from her."

The 33-year-old singer also credits his mother for being incredibly supportive of his decision to come out when he was younger, revealing it was her who prompted the conversation.

He shared: "When we had the coming out conversation … she kind of initiated it, which was hilarious. At that point, it was great because then we could talk about everything. There was never a point where I was made to feel bad about myself, and I was kind of an out-there kid."

Leila added to PEOPLE magazine: "People would say, ‘That’s weird, and I would say, ‘That’s not weird! It’s Adam. That’s who he is.’ We have conversations about everything."
